The Brown Project

During the year of 1993, we were contracted to renovate the Brown Residence, located in the Saratoga, 75th St and 1st Avenue. The apartment was located on the 42nd floor with views of the East River and Manhattan looking south. The design provided by GF55 Architects had an Art Deco flavor and incorporated the finest cabinet veneers and imported stone. The outcome of the project was spectacular and three years later, Architectural Digest in the March, 1996 issue featured the project with a front page introduction.
The Beller Project
In January of 1989, we began the renovation of a 100 year old town house in the Park Slope Section of Brooklyn. The building was in relatively good shape however most of its original millwork and hardwood flooring was in need of repair and refurbishment. Hesco Construction constructed a new kitchen and four bathrooms, rebuilt the basement including a professional dark room, provided new built in cabinetry to complement the existing, and refinished all the walls, rebuilt the 100 year old flooring where required, and refinished much of the antique millwork. When the project was completed, the townhouse was submitted to The Professional Builders and Remodelers magazine for consideration in its contest of best projects. Hesco Construction was awarded in 1990, the National Grand Award for a Period Restoration.
